How is WavWork different from other music platforms?
WavWork is built by music professionals for music professionals, with features like song sample previews, genre filtering, and secure payment holding designed for session work. Unlike other platforms that take 10-20% of every transaction, WavWork charges 0% platform fees — you keep 100% of your earnings. Instead, providers pay a simple $19.99/month subscription to be listed on the platform.
How do I get paid?
When a client hires you, their payment is held securely until you deliver the work. Once the client approves the delivery, funds are released to your connected Stripe account and deposited directly into your bank account.
How long does it take to get paid?
After a client marks the project complete, payments are sent directly to your bank account within 1-5 business days depending on your bank.
What fees does WavWork charge?
Providers pay a $19.99 monthly subscription to be listed on the platform. Beyond that, WavWork charges 0% platform fees — you keep 100% of your earnings. The only other fees are standard Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), which are industry standard for any online payment.
How do clients find me?
Clients browse through our talent collection and can filter by service type, genre, and location. Make sure to complete your profile, upload quality song samples, and set competitive rates to increase your visibility.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes, you have full control over your rates. Set prices that reflect your experience and the value you provide.
Can I offer multiple services?
Yes, you can list different services (vocals, mixing, production, etc.) with different prices for each.
What if a client is unresponsive?
If a client stops responding, contact our support team at support@wavworkapp.com. We can help resolve the situation or cancel the project if needed.
What services can I offer?
You can offer any music-related service including vocals, songwriting, music production, mixing, mastering, instrumentals, and more. Set your own rates and describe exactly what's included in each service.

How does it work?

3. When you find a provider who resonates with your project, send an Inquiry Message

4. The provider will send you a quote with pricing and delivery time

5. If you agree, accept the quote and pay — funds are held securely

6. The provider delivers the work. If satisfied, mark the project complete and
     the payment is released to the provider
How does payment work?
When you hire a provider, your payment is held securely in escrow. The provider only receives the funds after you approve their delivered work. This protects both parties and ensures quality delivery.
What if I'm not satisfied with the work?
If the delivered work doesn't meet the agreed requirements, you can request revisions from the provider. If you're still not satisfied, contact our support team at support@wavworkapp.com and we'll help mediate the situation.
How do I communicate with providers?
WavWork has built-in messaging so you can communicate directly with providers within the app. Discuss project details, share reference tracks, and coordinate delivery — all in one place.
How do I find the right provider?
Browse by service type, genre, and location. Listen to song samples to hear their work. Check reviews and ratings from other clients to find the perfect match for your project.
Is it free to hire on WavWork?
Yes! Clients don't pay any subscription or platform fees. You only pay for the services you hire.
How long does a project typically take?
It depends on the service. Discuss turnaround time with your provider before hiring. Most providers list estimated delivery times in the quote they provide.
Can I request revisions?
Yes, you can request revisions if the work doesn't meet what was agreed upon. We recommend discussing revision policies with your provider upfront before starting a project.
What happens if a provider doesn't deliver?
Your payment is held securely until delivery. If a provider fails to deliver, contact our support team and we'll help resolve the issue or refund your payment.
Can I hire multiple providers for one project?
Yes, you can work with different providers for different parts of your project. For example, hire one provider for vocals and another for mixing.
Can I see a provider's past work?
Yes, every provider has song samples on their profile you can listen to before hiring. This helps you find the right sound for your project.

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the app through your profile settings. Please note that any active projects should be completed or cancelled before deletion.

Payments are held securely until work is delivered and approved. If there's an issue, you can request a refund directly in the app or reach out to our support team at support@wavworkapp.com. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances of the project.
